Cut to frame without excess, the BODHI offers structure in its simplest form. The jacket’s boxy proportions are tempered by a relaxed fall, making room for movement while still holding a defined edge. Designed to be worn both loose or fastened, it shifts effortlessly between fuller coverage and an easy, open wear.
This fabric carries the work of one family in Rajasthan. It begins with block printing in natural dyes by Suraj Narain Titanwala, a master printer who works alongside his son, continuing the skill he learned from his father. Once printed, the cloth moves to his wife, Meera Devi, and their daughters, who embroider it in kantha stitch. The printing shapes the surface, while the stitching shifts the weight and movement, so the finished cloth feels as layered in character as it is in construction.
